Canadian Thanksgiving!

trees
Just a taste of the colours outside our doors right now.
Today is a Thanksgiving here in the Great White North and so My Crafty Weekend will return next Monday (October 18th).

We are taking off for a day or two. This is the most brilliant time to be Canadian. The autumnal landscape is breath taking. We'll be driving the Algonquin route for a day and ending up in Ottawa. It will most likely be a two day trip. I will do my best to keep things running but if not, I'll power play catch up when we get back.

Slugzilla
We are thankful for the time and opportunity to do things like chat with slugs. Of course I amthankful for Wednesday and all her gifts, my incredible partner in life and my super human health but really I just can't believe  I get to spend every day doing things like hanging out with Wednesday and slugs (or worms or grasshoppers). What are you thankful for this year?

I'm thankful for my wonderful family, the tiny home I have, and for everything I have. I am thankful for basically everything I have :)

Fall in Ontario is my favorite time of year; sounds like you are in the most colorful part of the country. Enjoy that drive!

I am thankful for my husband and 3 beautiful kids! I am thankful to have my green card so that we can live together.... and at this time of year I am thankful for pictures of changing leaves and Canadians wishing us happy Thanksgiving. This has made my day since we are not celebrating this month. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I am thankful for the tremendous joy that is in my family life right now. Even with tight funds and things breaking down we are in a great place as a family.
